Job summary

Vattenfall is looking for an O&M Technical Support Engineer - Offshore Wind to provide second-line technical support for our offshore wind fleet. You will focus on Vestas platforms (V80, V90, V112) and use data, documentation and expert input to diagnose recurring issues.

You will join a central team that handles technical queries across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, control systems, SCADA and alarms, delivering reliable, cost-effective asset performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and resolve offshore wind technical requests using ticketing, data and input from specialists.
• Analyse recurring alarms and failure patterns to identify platform issues and drive improvements in reliability, availability and maintainability.
• Support remote troubleshooting with SCADA, alarm data and maintenance history to guide site teams towards practical solutions.
• Create and maintain standardised technical solutions, alarm guides and troubleshooting instructions.
• Collaborate with site operations, engineering, asset management, regional support, OEMs and suppliers to ensure the right technical input for operational decisions.
• Provide technical input to future projects and contract discussions based on operational experience and lessons learned.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Technical Support processes and documentation across the team.
