Job summary

Vestas NCE Offshore Service is seeking a Service Technician to perform offshore maintenance on wind turbines located in the North Sea, with a 2-week on/2-weeks off schedule. Based from IJmuiden, you will operate in an international team and advance safety standards while ensuring service targets are met.

You will develop turbine knowledge, perform inspections, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or relevant practical experience.
• Technical education in Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulics.
• AT/CT accreditation under WTSR is advantageous.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings for fault-finding and maintenance.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work safely offshore and maintain environmental standards.
• Develop detailed knowledge of wind turbines.
• Perform periodic service inspections and troubleshoot systems.
• Maintain CMS document trails and register time & materials.
• Monitor turbines and pro-actively prepare for maintenance.
