Job summary

Star is seeking a Project Regulatory Manager to lead adherence to global regulatory requirements and embed regulatory discipline across offshore projects.

You will guide a team of Project Regulatory Engineers, Site Engineers and Inspectors while collaborating with Group Functions, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Construction, Commissioning Managers, Class, and external partners to ensure seamless regulatory integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Naval Engineering is required.
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• 10 years of offshore industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide support to a team of Project Regulatory Engineers, Site Engineers and Inspectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory standards are integrated into the project lifecycle.
• Identify applicable legislations, regulations and rules for compliance.
• Coordinate timely implementation of regulatory requirements across project phases.
• Raise awareness and define regulatory training for the project team.
• Follow Regulatory Query process per GEMS and provide updates to management.
• Prepare regulatory handover packages for operations and ensure smooth transition to permits and consents.
• Ensure regulatory certificates and deliverables meet project requirements.
