Job summary

Petrodec is seeking an Offshore QHSE Coordinator to protect safety and IMS across offshore operations. You will promote compliance with the law and coordinate training and guidance for the crew, ensuring risks are managed and procedures followed.

You will conduct audits, support incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining harmonised IMS documentation and acting as a bridge between onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or HVK qualification required.
• Preferably 5 years offshore experience.
• Strong English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
• Understanding of TRAs, TbT, PtW and related procedures.
• Familiarity with offshore equipment certification and emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IMS compliance and safe planning under Permit to Work.
• Support day-to-day HSE matters and risk control.
• Coach and facilitate offshore HSE activities with leadership.
• Stop unsafe work and inform the OIM immediately.
• Carry out offshore inspections, audits, and health and safety checks on board the unit.
• Investigate incidents and near misses with Safety Representatives.
• Suggest improvements to the QHSE Manager and prepare Lessons Learnt sheets.
• Harmonise filing system across units and hand over to relief Coordinator.
• Bridge onshore and offshore operations and improve IMS documentation.
