Job summary

COS B.V. is seeking a QHSE Manager to build and embed a complete QHSE framework from the ground up, working across shipyards, vessel managers and clients.

You will lead the development of processes and documentation to ensure safety and quality from construction through operation. During the build phase you will establish the structure and embed it; later you will professionalise QHSE across the organisation, driving improvements, incidents analysis and safety culture enhancement.

Qualifications

• Senior QHSE experience in maritime, offshore or technical environments.
• Experience setting up QHSE systems.
• Knowledge of ISM Code, ISO and IMCA.
• Experience with audits, certification processes and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the QHSE management system.
• Take end responsibility for QHSE within offshore projects (on board and onshore).
• Act as sparring partner for ship management and clients; challenge external parties on quality and safety standards.
• Translate policies into practical procedures and instructions; coordinate audits and certification processes.
• Take ownership of the COS management system and further develop ISO certifications.
