Overview

As QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing and driving a group-wide strategy on quality, health, safety, and environment. Your focus is on harmonising policies, systems, and practices across multiple business entities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You will operate at both strategic and operational levels, bridging compliance with day-to-day realities and engaging all levels of the organisation in a strong, proactive QHSE culture.

Responsibilities

• Strategic QHSE Leadership
  • Develop and implement a QHSE strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Advise senior leadership on risk, compliance, legislation, and industry best practices.
  • Translate strategy into clear frameworks, processes, and resource plans.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the management team on all QHSE-related matters.
• Governance & Compliance
  • Maintain and improve the QHSE Management System.
  • Monitor legal compliance across all activities and locations.
  • Conduct reviews and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Track and report QHSE performance indicators across the organisation.
• Leadership, Coordination & Support
  • Lead and support QHSE professionals across various departments.
  • Define clear and practical QHSE standards based on risk and operational needs.
  • Promote ownership and engagement in QHSE across the organisation.
  • Ensure timely and effective QHSE support during all project and operational phases.
• Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyse data to identify trends and drive preventive actions.
  • Support management in performance reviews and setting QHSE objectives.
  • Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of QHSE experience, including 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Experience managing QHSE across multiple locations or project types, preferably in (offshore) energy projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Proficiency in integrated management systems and fluent English.
