Job summary

Conscious Hotel Westerpark is seeking a Night Receptionist to welcome guests during the night, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and prepare coffee or tea for those awake after dark.

You’ll work independently, stay calm and alert, and perform night audits and safety rounds to keep the hotel running smoothly. The position offers two night shifts per week and a friendly team in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English is essential
• Dutch language is a plus
• Hospitality mindset and guest-service skills

Job description

Night owl, evening person—call it what you want, but you feel right at home after dark! As a Night Receptionist, you’re the go‑to contact for our guests throughout the night. You’re the superhero who welcomes late arrivals, supports them with check‑ins and check‑outs, and lovingly prepares a warm coffee or tea for anyone still awake. A 5:00 a.m. wake‑up call, help with luggage, or just a friendly word—you handle it all with ease!

The night has its own rhythm, and that’s exactly what gives you energy. You work independently and stay calm and alert, even when something unexpected happens. As a true troubleshooter, you tackle whatever comes your way—from spontaneous questions at the desk to that one task that just can’t wait until morning. Night audits, safety rounds, and checking the fire alarm panel make your shift the perfect mix of service and responsibility.
