Job summary

Conscious Hotels Westerpark in Amsterdam is seeking a Front Office Host who can also serve as a Barista. You will greet guests, handle check-ins, manage the self check-in system, share local tips, and upsell bike rentals and sustainable goodies.

You love hospitality, can whip up a great coffee, and enjoy connecting with guests at the bar or front desk. The role suits someone who works well both in a team and independently, with flexible weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Looking for a nice job 4-5 days per week.
• Front office host and barista in one – multitasking with a smile.
• Hospitality is in your DNA – sense what a guest needs.
• Experience in (international) hotels or hospitality preferred.
• Flexible weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English; Dutch a bonus.
• Live in or near Amsterdam preferred.
• Team player but can work independently.
• Experience with complaint handling and HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests and assist with the self check-in system.

During your shift, you are the shining face of the hotel. You take care of everything: checking in guests, helping with the self check-in system, giving the best Amsterdam tips, and effortlessly selling a bike rental or sustainable goodies. You love chatting with guests, making a perfect coffee (or tea), and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Here, the front desk isn’t the only place you shine – you also froth milk like a pro.

Job requirements and personal qualities:

• You are looking for a nice job for 4-5 days per week;

• Ideally, you have experience in (international) hotels or the hospitality industry – to provide the best service for our guests;

• Flexible availability – Including weekends and holidays;

• You speak fluent English. If you also speak Dutch, that’s a nice bonus;

• Preferably, you live in or near Amsterdam;

• You are a team player but also work well independently;

• Experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
