Job summary

Bloomreach is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial accounting, reporting, and compliance for our Dutch entities. The role requires strategic thinking, deep technical accounting expertise, strong judgement, and hands-on operational focus.

You will ensure accuracy, controls, and governance with a solid command of US GAAP and Dutch GAAP. You will drive process improvements through automation and AI, acting as the local finance owner for Netherlands operations and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in accounting or controlling.
• 8+ years in accounting/finance leadership, preferably in a US-parented multinational.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Dutch GAAP.
• Experience with statutory audits and external auditors.
• Ability to explain numbers clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting analysis and monthly close for Dutch entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure statutory reporting under US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead Dutch tax compliance and tax provision with advisors.
• Strengthen financial controls and governance; improve processes.
• Oversee cash management and forecasting for the Netherlands.
