Job summary

Resolve Marine seeks a Naval Architect to support emergency response and wreck removal operations from their office in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. The role involves developing technical plans, performing stability calculations, and engaging in engineering work for vessels.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and have at least 4 years of engineering experience. Proficiency in CAD software and hydrostatic calculations is essential.

This full-time position includes supervisory responsibilities and may require up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of engineering experience, preferably in the salvage industry.
• Familiar with classification society rules and USCG/IMO regulations.
• Experience with emergency ship repair and salvage processes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical plans, diagrams and perform stability calculations.
• Engineer vessel modifications and conduct detailed design/drafting.
• Provide engineering supervision for junior Naval Architects as needed.
