Job summary

Iv is seeking a Structural Designer to design structures used worldwide, translating challenges into manufacturable and safe designs. You will work with 2D and 3D CAD models, collaborating with engineers and other disciplines to ensure technically sound and buildable outcomes.

You should have a completed MBO or HBO degree in Naval Architecture or a comparable field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO or HBO degree in Naval Architecture or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Structural Designer or in a comparable position.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Work with precision, strong communication skills, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to switch between different projects and disciplines.
• Flexible, customer-focused and enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design structures used worldwide, translating challenges into manufacturable, safe designs.
• Work with 2D and 3D CAD models and liaise with engineers and other disciplines.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure buildable designs and practical feasibility.
• Report to senior/lead structural designer and project manager.
