Job summary

Amaris Consulting seeks a Consultant MRI Mechanical Engineer to work on MRI systems and medical imaging projects. You will translate requirements into mechanical designs, develop components, and support prototypes across diverse client environments.

The role emphasizes ownership, strong CAD skills, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in an international consultancy setting. English fluency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional experience with MRI systems or MRI-related technology is required.
• Hands-on mechanical design, development, integration or testing experience in MRI equipment.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD and mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Support MRI system R&D projects and design mechanical components, assemblies and systems.
• Translate requirements into mechanical specifications and engineering solutions.
• Perform concept development, calculations, analysis and detailed design.
• Create and review 3D CAD models, drawings and specs.
• Develop solutions for demanding MRI environments and support prototypes and testing.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electronics, RF, software and systems teams.
