Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Consultant MRI Mechanical Engineer to apply mechanical engineering expertise across MRI systems and medical imaging projects, from component development to system-wide programs. You will work with different clients, taking ownership of topics with independence.

You will design and integrate mechanical components, develop 3D CAD models, perform calculations, prototyping, testing and support system integration across multidisciplinary teams in an international

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional MRI systems experience is required.
• Strong 3D CAD knowledge and mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Support MRI R&D projects and design mechanical components and systems.
• Translate requirements into mechanical specifications and solutions.
• Create and review 3D CAD models, drawings, and specs.
• Perform mechanical calculations, prototyping and testing.
• Support system integration, verification and handover.
• Work across interfaces with electronics, RF and software teams.
