Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Mechanical Development Consultant to drive mechatronic designs from concept to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

You will work on complex development projects, translating concepts into detailed designs, creating comprehensive CAD models and documentation, and supporting testing and DFx activities within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical product development experience in high-tech, medical, industrial, or precision equipment environments.
• Proven ability to translate conceptual designs into detailed, production-ready mechanical solutions.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Creo preferred) and familiarity with PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level system concepts into detailed mechanical designs for subsystems and components.
• Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation (BOMs, assembly instructions, service manuals).
• Support design, integration and testing of mechatronic systems across mechanical, thermal, dynamic and control aspects.
• Collaborate with electronics, software, and systems engineering for seamless integration.
• Contribute to design for quality, manufacturability and serviceability across product lifecycle.
