Job summary

Itproposal is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop to design, secure, and optimize our digital workplace for enterprise users. The role is based in Amsterdam and requires strong collaboration with IT teams to maintain a secure, scalable environment.

You will manage identity and access, AD and Entra ID, and ensure compliance across devices using Intune and GPOs, while delivering reliable EUC services for the organization.

Qualifications

• Fluent Dutch in speaking, reading and writing.
• 4–6 years of experience in digital workplace engineering or EUC environments.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop setup, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and GPO management.
• Experience with MDM/MAM for iOS devices using Intune.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access security.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace environment.
• Plan and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop for secure EUC access.
• Administer Active Directory and Azure Entra ID including security policies.
• Manage Group Policies (GPOs) and device/user configurations.
• Prepare, package and distribute workplace applications.
• Manage iOS devices via MDM and Intune.
• Enforce security and compliance for workplace environments.
