Job summary

ITProposal is seeking a Microsoft 365 & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to manage a modern digital workplace in Amsterdam. You will deploy and support Microsoft 365 services, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Intune across endpoints, ensuring secure end-user access and compliance.

The role requires 4–6 years of M365 experience, strong AD/Entra ID skills, and hands-on AVD expertise. A hybrid work setup in Amsterdam with a 6-month contract is offered.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to manage and support a modern digital workplace environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management, ensuring secure and efficient end-user computing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain a Microsoft 365 modern workplace environment, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments for secure and scalable end-user access.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication, authorization, Group Policy (GPO), and security policies.
• Manage user identities, access permissions, and compliance in line with Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices.
• Package, deploy, and manage workplace applications.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Manage and secure iOS devices (iPhones and iPads), including application deployment, security policy enforcement, and remote wipe capabilities.
• Ensure endpoint security, device compliance, and application security across the workplace environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, identity management, and endpoint devices.
