Job summary

NTT DATA in Eindhoven is seeking a Middleware Engineer/Specialist/Architect to operate and develop enterprise middleware platforms that connect applications, services and data. You will ensure middleware environments remain secure, available and capable of supporting business-critical services.

The role involves monitoring middleware services, resolving incidents, deploying and upgrading platforms, and automating recurring tasks across development, test and production.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise middleware platforms and integration.
• Ability to monitor, diagnose and resolve incidents across environments.
• Experience with security, certificates and identity integration.
• Automation and scripting to streamline platform administration.
• Knowledge of clustering, load balancing and disaster recovery.
• Ability to contribute to architecture principles and platform roadmaps.
• Leadership experience for senior upgrades and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor middleware services, queues, application servers and integration components.
• Resolve incidents relating to performance, connectivity, transactions and service availability.
• Install, configure, patch and upgrade middleware platforms.
• Support deployment and configuration activities across development, test and production environments.
• Troubleshoot application-to-middleware, database and network integration issues.
• Maintain certificates, connections, service accounts and security configurations.
• Support clustering, load balancing, resilience and disaster recovery.
• Automate recurring platform administration and deployment activities.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity analysis.
• Maintain operating procedures, platform documentation and knowledge articles.
• At senior levels, lead major upgrades, migrations and complex problem investigations.
• At L5, develop middleware architecture principles, patterns and platform roadmaps.
