Job summary

Albert Heijn is seeking a medior Front-end engineer to join the AH Store Technology Platform. You will contribute to the internal employee app used by thousands of colleagues and work within a diverse team of eight engineers, with hybrid work options across home and office locations.

You will build, test, and release features, while maintaining code quality and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the product forward.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of React Native with 2+ years of hands-on experience.
• Familiar with app compilation, review and release in App Store or Play Store.
• Passionate about tech and building products colleagues love.
• Excellent communication: open, transparent and motivated.
• Experience with CI/CD in prior assignments.

Responsibilities

• Involved from refinement to release and support of the employee app used by 85,000 colleagues weekly.
• Build code, implement and execute automated testing, ensure security and code quality, contribute to best practices and deployments.
• Be a valued team member that contributes and removes obstacles.
• Work closely with Engineers, Engineering Manager, Product Owner, and the development community.
