Job summary

Confocal NL is expanding its commercial team and seeks a Sales Engineer to lead all sales activities in assigned accounts. You will work with KOLs in microscopy imaging and distribution partners across the territory, activating and supporting partners to grow revenue and margin.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field or Master’s degree with 3 years microscopy industry experience.
• Experience in microscopy-based imaging, preferably with high-end microscopy such as confocal or Super resolution.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Strategic planning skills and excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• A B driver’s license valid in the EU, or willingness to acquire one.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily sales and support activities, maximizing revenue opportunities. Utilize the CRM system to advance leads in our commercial pipeline.
• Achieve primary and secondary targets.
• Align internal and external stakeholders for customer demonstrations; when necessary or requested, perform (online) demos of our confocal microscopes.
• Execute/support territory marketing and sales campaigns and develop territory strategy by improving presence and market share.
• Travel internationally for customer visits, product demonstrations, and conferences.
