Job summary

Flex is seeking an MES Engineer in Oostrum, North Limburg, Netherlands to analyze, design, implement, and support MES solutions for logistics and light assembly. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, PSE, and IT to improve processes and system stability.

You will translate requirements into MES designs, build modular MES processes, test changes, monitor incidents, and document functionality, acting as a trusted technical partner for internal stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or similar.
• Solid understanding of logistics and/or light assembly processes.
• Experience in a technical design & delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate operational and customer requirements into clear MES process and application designs
• Build and configure modular MES processes for logistics and light assembly flows
• Implement changes in MES and integration platforms (including FlexFlow, Brix, FCS and LinkX)
• Execute technical testing for changes and new releases
• Monitor systems, analyze incidents, and resolve problems structurally
• Perform process optimizations together with Engineering and Operations
• Ensure proper functional and technical documentation
• Act as a trusted technical partner for internal stakeholders and customers
