Job summary

Flex seeks an MES Engineer in Oostrum, Netherlands to analyze, design, implement and support MES solutions for logistics and light assembly, reporting to the Senior IT Manager. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, PSE and IT to improve processes and system stability.

Duties include translating requirements into MES designs, building modular MES processes for logistics and light assembly, implementing changes across MES and integration platforms (FlexFlow, Brix, FCS, LinkX), testing

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or similar.
• Solid understanding of logistics and/or light assembly processes.
• Experience in a technical design & delivery environment.
• Strong SQL skills or motivation to grow quickly.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proactive, service-oriented, and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Translate operational and customer requirements into clear MES process and application designs.
• Build and configure modular MES processes for logistics and light assembly flows.
• Implement changes in MES and integration platforms (including FlexFlow, Brix, FCS and LinkX).
• Execute technical testing for changes and new releases.
• Monitor systems, analyze incidents, and resolve problems structurally.
• Perform process optimizations together with Engineering and Operations.
• Ensure proper functional and technical documentation.
• Act as a trusted technical partner for internal stakeholders and customers.
