Job summary

Flex is seeking a MES Engineer in Oostrum, North Limburg, Netherlands to analyze, design, implement and support MES solutions in complex logistics and light-assembly environments. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, PSE, and IT to improve processes and system stability.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or similar.
Solid understanding of logistics and/or light assembly processes.
Experience in a technical design and delivery environment.
Strong SQL skills or motivation to grow quickly.
Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
Proactive, service-oriented, and communicative.

Responsibilities

Translate operational and customer requirements into clear MES process and application designs.
Build and configure modular MES processes for logistics and light assembly flows.
Implement changes in MES and integration platforms (FlexFlow, Brix, FCS and LinkX).
Execute technical testing for changes and new releases.
Monitor systems, analyze incidents, and resolve problems structurally.
Perform process optimizations with Engineering and Operations.
Ensure proper functional and technical documentation.
Act as a trusted technical partner for internal stakeholders and customers.
