Job summary

Flex is seeking an MES Engineer for our site in Oostrum, North Limburg, Netherlands. You will analyze requirements, design and configure MES processes for logistics and light assembly, and work with IT and operations to improve stability and performance.

You will implement changes in MES and integration platforms (FlexFlow, Brix, FCS and LinkX), run tests, monitor systems, document solutions, and act as a trusted technical partner for internal stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or similar.
Solid understanding of logistics and/or light assembly processes.
Experience in a technical design & delivery environment.
Strong SQL skills or the motivation to grow quickly.
Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
Proactive, service-oriented, and communicative.

Responsibilities

Translate operational and customer requirements into clear MES process and application designs.
Build and configure modular MES processes for logistics and light assembly flows.
Implement changes in MES and integration platforms (including FlexFlow, Brix, FCS and LinkX).
Execute technical testing for changes and new releases.
Monitor systems, analyze incidents, and resolve problems structurally.
Perform process optimizations together with Engineering and Operations.
Ensure proper functional and technical documentation.
Act as a trusted technical partner for internal stakeholders and customers.
