Job summary

Vitae Professionals in the Netherlands is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist adults with severe intellectual disabilities and complex behavioural needs. You will provide personal care, promote wellbeing and support daily living in a highly specialised setting.

Relocation is supported: paid flight, airport transfer, a monthly relocation allowance, housing help, plus a Dutch language course (A1–B1) and a generous leave policy. Salary starts at €2,360 gross per month.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you'll help create a safe, structured and supportive environment for people with high-dependency care needs, promoting their well-being, dignity and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
• Encouraging structure, routine and independence whenever possible
• Understanding and responding to non-verbal communication
• Supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs using de-escalation techniques
• Working closely with psychologists, nurses and other multidisciplinary professionals
