Job summary

smartQare in Eindhoven is seeking a System Test Engineer to strengthen backend testing of our MedTech cloud platform. You will design, execute, and automate tests, ensuring quality and reliability.

You will also perform system integration testing of the viQtor wearable and interoperability testing between our backend and CIMS used by hospitals. You will work with a team of professionals to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• A completed university degree (BA/MSc level) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Experience with backend software testing and embedded device testing (manual and automated).
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation tools.
• Experience with system integration testing (hardware/software integration) and interoperability testing between software systems is a strong plus.
• Affinity with backend development (e.g. Python, Java, Golang) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, in particular AWS, and databases.
• Affinity with the healthcare sector and knowledge of medical regulations is a bonus, such as ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, and GDPR.
• Strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and a team spirit.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
