Job summary
ViCentra in Utrecht, the home of Kaleido, seeks a seasoned purchaser to drive supplier selection for NPIs and secure equipment for internal teams and contract manufacturers. You will evaluate proposals, benchmark suppliers, and ensure timely, high-quality launches while coordinating with NPI and project teams.
The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, a engineering degree, and strong negotiation skills in a fast-paced MedTech environment. Hybrid work in the Netherlands supported.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with purchasing or sourcing.
- Experience with NPIs, manufacturing and supplier onboarding.
- Technical understanding of equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and benchmark potential suppliers for NPI.
- Request and process quotations with suppliers for NPI.
- Analyze supplier proposals for price, quality, and delivery times.
- Support selection and implementation of new suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with new or potential suppliers.
- Collaborate with NPI and project teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop supply chain solutions for new parts/products.
- Monitor relationships with existing equipment suppliers.
