Job summary

ViCentra B.V. is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Specialist focused on injection moulding to drive industrialisation on the factory floor. You will partner with CMOs and suppliers to ensure quality, capacity, and cost targets are met while advancing NPI and product changes.

You will apply lean problem solving, lead cross-functional teams, and resolve process issues at source to keep ViCentra’s insulin devices moving from concept to scalable production.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or industrialisation.
• Hands-on experience with external manufacturers or suppliers of high-volume plastics.
• Experience with injection moulding and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational contact for CMOs and key injection moulding suppliers.
• Support scaling and capacity expansion for injection moulded parts.
• Coordinate injection moulding industrialisation projects to improve yield, throughput, and cost.
• Track KPIs like cycle time, OEE, yield, and scrap; drive corrective actions with CMOs and supplier teams.
• Facilitate recurring project and performance meetings; track priorities and follow-ups on actions.
• Support NPI and product changes for injection moulded parts; coordinate builds and manufacturing feedback.
• Verify and validate injection moulding processes to meet Medical Device Regulation requirements.

As a contract manufacturing specialist - injection moulding, you will help turn ViCentra's ambition to scale into reality on the factory floor. Working closely with our Contract Manufacturing Organisations and critical suppliers, you will be the operational driving force behind the high precision plastic parts that make our wearable insulin devices possible, ensuring quality, delivery, capacity, and cost are on target every step of the way. This role combines hands-on problem solving with real impact, as you will keep industrialisation projects moving and resolve process issues at the source, bringing life-changing devices closer to those who need them.

• Act as the primary operational point of contact for assigned CMOs and critical injection moulding suppliers on day-to-day manufacturing, assembly, and engineering topics
• Support scaling and capacity expansion for injection moulded parts across our contract manufacturers and critical suppliers
• Coordinate injection moulding industrialisation projects, driving yield improvement, throughput optimisation, cost reduction, and process stabilisation
• Track key injection moulding KPIs such as cycle time, OEE, yield, and scrap, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions with CMO and supplier teams
• Facilitate recurring project and performance meetings, tracking priorities and following up on agreed actions and commitments
• Support NPI and product change activities for injection moulded parts, coordinating builds, process readiness, and manufacturing feedback
• Support verification and validation of injection moulding processes, machines, and equipment (including IQ/OQ/PQ) to meet Medical Device Regulation requirements
• Champion continuous improvement between ViCentra and its suppliers using Lean and structured problem solving methodologies
• Around 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialisation, supply chain engineering, or project-based roles within an outsourced manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to injection moulding of plastic components
• Hands-on experience working with external manufacturers or suppliers producing high volume, high precision plastic components
• A solid understanding of injection moulding process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries (ISO 13485) is a strong plus
