Job summary

NCIM in The Hague is seeking a .NET engineer to join a hybrid team building robust software for critical environments. You will design and implement features alongside experienced engineers and grow into an expert in a complex domain.

You should have 4+ years of .NET experience, strong C#/.NET and Entity Framework skills, and frontend exposure with Angular/React/Vue. Docker and Kubernetes familiarity, PostgreSQL, and a collaborative Agile/Scrum approach are expected.

Qualifications

• Technical degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or AI.
• At least 4 years of work experience as a .NET software engineer.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET, familiar with Entity Framework.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.
• Databases: PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable with Agile/Scrum and applying SOLID principles.
• Dutch nationality is required for client screenings.

What you will do

• Help build robust .NET software that runs in critical environments
• Design and implement features within a team of experienced engineers
• Dig into a complex domain and grow into the expert on it
• Grow toward senior with your manager, who's an engineer too

What we are looking for

• Technical degree (BSc/MSc), for example Computer Science, Software Engineering or Artificial Intelligence
• At least 4 years of work experience as a .NET software engineer
• Solid knowledge of C# and .NET, and familiar with Entity Framework
• Experience with Angular, React or Vue.js on the frontend
• Comfortable with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes, or motivated to dive in
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum and keen to keep getting better at applying SOLID principles
• Dutch nationality (many of our clients require this for a security screening)
