Job description

Vistra is seeking a Financial Services Accountant to join their team in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands. The successful candidate will deliver accounting services and advice to Venture Capital and Private Equity (VC/PE) structures and Managers.

The role involves performing Fund accounting, including Investor reporting, creating capital calls and distributions, making Waterfall calculations, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in audit or accounting, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Financial Statements;
• Review bookkeeping (accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, movements in investment property, lease incentives, intangibles, service charges reconciliations according to Dutch GAAP but also US GAAP principle);
• Review the distributions and capital contribution requests;
• Review the cash flow statements;
• Review (and preparation) of Client specific monthly reporting;
• Prepare and coordinate the CIT & VAT returns;
• Prepare the audit file and provide assistance with statutory audits;
• Follow up, and coordination on client specific accounting requests.

Attributes & Skills:

• Expert level of Dutch GAAP, knowledge of IFRS is preferred;
• Excellent verbal and written Dutch and English communication skills;
• Pro-active, focused on quality, persuasive, and great advisory skills.
