• Search existing records to identify duplicates before creation
• Fill technical fields using established templates, including dimensions, units of measure, and part numbers
• Follow naming and classification rules
• Manage material requests through the ticketing tool and meet agreed SLAs
• Support the Category Specialist and Business Support team
• Create new materials in ERP systems such as IFS, SAP MM, or McMain
• Ensure all fields are complete before approval
• Maintain consistent descriptions across sites and business units
• Perform regular data cleanup
• Deactivate obsolete materials, fix inconsistencies, and merge duplicates
• Track basic data quality metrics for completeness, accuracy, and duplicates
• Flag unusual tickets and report issues to the Category Specialist
