Job summary

Damen Technical Cooperation (DTC) is seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager to lead the DTC Project Management Department in Gorinchem. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality specifications across engineering, supply chain, and production activities for vessels built at international yards.

The role requires coordinating a multi-disciplinary team, reporting to the Manager Projects DTC, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology or Electric and automation.
• 3–5 years in project management in a maritime environment.
• Ability to set priorities, maintain overview, and take a process-centered approach.
• Communicative in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Kick off projects with scope and deliverables in collaboration with the project team.
• Monitor engineering, supply chain, and production progress for timely vessel delivery.
• Identify project risks and define mitigation actions.
• Inform stakeholders regularly about timing, quality, costs, and contractual requirements.
• Manage disturbances to protect time, quality, and costs.
