Job summary

We ARE Renewables in Nijmegen seeks a Maritime Project Buyer to manage project-based procurement, supplier management, and contract execution. You will develop category plans, negotiate supplier agreements, and oversee delivery performance to ensure quality and cost effectiveness for maritime projects.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management in an international setting, with experience in procurement processes and contract management.

Qualifications

• Experience in project-based environments.
• Strong procurement and contract management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and across disciplines.
• International environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Purchase project-specific components and monitor order status and delivery progress.
• Develop category plans and negotiate, conclude, and manage supplier contracts.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers.
• Manage existing supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, quantity, and delivery.
• Ensure the best balance between scope, quality, price, and delivery times.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supply chain teams to support project and production requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the professionalization of the purchasing department.
