Job summary

We ARE Renewables in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead European and national tender processes for large-scale construction, infrastructure, and maintenance projects. You will drive the full procurement cycle, shaping strategy, market approach, evaluation, and award.

The role requires coordinating with legal, technical, and project teams, advising stakeholders, and ensuring compliant, value-driven contracts while prioritizing sustainable supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contracting, or tendering.
• Experience with consultancy, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or project environments.
• Experience with European tenders and complex procurement processes.
• Strong affinity with technical services, engineering, construction, or infrastructure.
• Proven stakeholder management across multiple levels.
• Experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize procurement needs and translate these into market and tender strategies.
• Manage tender and quotation processes for advisory services in construction, infrastructure, engineering, and asset management.
• Advise stakeholders on contract forms, supplier selections, market developments, and commercial considerations.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers on contractual and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with project teams, asset management, engineering, contract management, and external market parties.
• Contribute to professionalization of supplier management and sustainable partnerships with strategic suppliers.
• Identify market developments and translate them into opportunities and improvement initiatives.
• Support complex investment, replacement, and maintenance projects with market expertise.
