Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Leiden site is seeking a Maintenance Technician to responsibly maintain manufacturing equipment and production assets in a safe, compliant state. You will perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance, document work orders in Maximo, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Validation, and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational diploma or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or maintenance environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Experience using CMMS/eCMMS systems.
• Ability to work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures.
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Execute and document work orders within Maximo.
• Accompany and support external service providers during maintenance activities.
• Participate in root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance excellence programs.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, Quality, and site procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
