Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor – Equipment Engineering DSP to lead a team of Equipment Engineers within the Downstream Processing Center of Expertise.

You will build and maintain strong equipment engineering capability to support safe, compliant and reliable manufacturing operations, ensuring equipment remains fit for purpose across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead people, projects or multidisciplinary teams.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the DSP Equipment Engineering team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Ensure strong technical ownership of DSP manufacturing equipment throughout its lifecycle.
• Drive safe, compliant, reliable equipment performance and effective change-control for equipment.
• Provide direction for equipment-related investigations, improvements and CAPEX initiatives.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance and Quality to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
