Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Leiden is seeking a Maintenance System and Excellence Engineer to strengthen maintenance execution, system compliance, and equipment reliability across the site. You will own how maintenance systems, data, and processes are applied—ensuring they support safe, compliant, and reliable operations in a regulated medical‑device manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Science discipline (required).
2–5 years of experience in Maintenance, Engineering, or Reliability roles within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Hands‑on experience with eCMMS systems and maintenance data analysis.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and audit environments.
Comfortable working cross‑functionally with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive Maintenance Systems Excellence: Own and improve standardized use of the eCMMS (Maximo) across Maintenance.
Ensure Maintenance Quality & Audit Readiness: Ensure activities meet GMP, QMS, EHS, and company standards; support audits and inspections.
Build Maintenance Excellence & Reliability Programs: Analyze data to identify trends and design fit‑for‑purpose maintenance programs.
Support Safety & Continuous Improvement: Promote safe practices and contribute to site‑level improvements.
