GLS Group, headquartered in Amsterdam, seeks a Manager Group Tax to oversee tax matters across its international operations and shape the global tax framework.
You will balance strategic development with hands-on compliance, transfer pricing oversight, and tax audits, collaborating with finance, legal, and external advisors in a dynamic global environment.
At the GLS Group headquarters based in Amsterdam, a position has become vacant for a Manager Group Tax, reporting to the Director Group Tax. In this role you will be responsible for a broad range of tax matters across GLS’s international operations and play a pivotal role in shaping their global tax framework. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance, manage tax risks, and support strategic tax planning.
While this is a well-rounded tax role, approximately 50% of your responsibilities will involve Dutch taxation, given the importance of the Netherlands as a hub for cash pooling, M&A activities, and international tax structuring. You will also provide support on transfer pricing, corporate tax matters, tax audits across multiple jurisdictions, and the ongoing implementation of a Tax Control Framework (TCF).
Key Responsibilities:
GLS Group is one of the largest parcel service providers in Europe, with a strong presence across the continent and operations in Canada and the USA’s West Coast. They provide high-quality logistics solutions in over 50 countries, supported by a robust network of 115 hubs, 1,700 depots, and over 36,000 delivery vehicles. In 2025/26, GLS achieved record revenues of €6 billion and delivered 977 million parcels worldwide.
At GLS, they thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where innovation, flexibility, and strategic thinking drive success.
The ideal candidate is a tax professional with 7-10 years of experience, capable of handling both strategic and hands‑on tax matters in an international setting.
