We are seeking a talented International Tax Manager, to join our Finance team at Dayco in Netherland (NL).
Summary of the Position
The role is responsible for driving strategic planning, corporate direct and indirect tax strategy and compliance, and business partnering across multiple jurisdictions.
Corporate & International Tax
- Oversee corporate tax compliance across jurisdictions
- Coordinate local filings and review tax returns and provisions
- Monitor OECD, EU, and BEPS developments; assess business impact
- Support transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
Tax Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to global tax strategy and implementation
- Identify and execute tax-efficient structures for cross-border projects
- Support M&A, reorganizations, and financing structures
- Evaluate opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation
Business Partnering & Projects
- Provide proactive tax input to business initiatives
- Collaborate with accounting, controlling, and legal teams
- Support operational model changes and new product launches
Liaison & Coordination
- Main contact for local advisors and tax authorities
- Manage external advisor relationships and audits
- Coordinate responses to tax authority inquiries
Governance & Compliance
- Implement tax control framework and internal governance
- Support tax accounting and disclosure requirements
- Ensure adherence to group policies and IFRS/ASC740 standards
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in international corporate tax, preferably a combination of Big 4 and in-house environment
- Degree in Tax Law, Tax accountancy or similar
- Fluency in English. Dutch or Italian language skills are a strong advantage
- Experience managing corporate tax compliance, tax provisioning, and international tax structures across multiple jurisdictions
- Proven track record implementing tax control frameworks, overseeing governance processes, and tax accounting/disclosure requirements
- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide practical tax advice to senior business leaders, finance, legal, and operations teams
- Experience with managing an indirect tax function, supply chain and indirect tax cash planning projects
- ERP implementation experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently on complex, multi-jurisdictional projects while delivering results within a dynamic work environment
- Strong structured approach and project management skills — able to plan, prioritize, coordinating cross-functional teams and external parties effectively
- Residence and eligibility to work from the Netherlands
