Job summary

RGF Staffing, part of Recruit Holdings, seeks a Global Tax Director to join its Global Corporate Head Office in Almere. You will advise the CFO and finance organisation, shape tax strategy, strengthen control frameworks and manage risk across multiple jurisdictions.

You will oversee transfer pricing, Pillar Two, CbCR, M&A support, tax accounting and Dutch matters, coordinating with regional teams in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and other markets; the role evolves with growth.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Fiscal Economics or Fiscal Law.
  • Minimum of 10 years of corporate tax experience with internationally operating corporations.
  • Knowledge of tax accounting, transfer pricing, international tax regulations and Dutch tax law.
  • Highly analytical, motivated, works well in a team and individually, is confident and proactive.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax filings, documentation and data requests, and support Dutch corporate income tax.

Job description

RGF Staffing is looking to recruit a Global Tax Director to join its Global Corporate Head Office in Almere. This is a rare opportunity to shape and further professionalise tax governance in a global, complex and evolving HR services group. Acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO and wider finance organisation, the role will strengthen tax strategy, control frameworks and risk management across multiple jurisdictions. The Global Tax Director will also serve as the senior tax lead for RGF Staffing and key counterpart to the RHC tax team, while taking hands-on responsibility for transfer pricing, Pillar Two, CbCR, M&A support, tax accounting and Dutch corporate tax matters. You will provide advice and support to the local country tax and finance teams in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Hong Kong, the US, Japan. Together with the local and corporate teams you will be working to monitor RGF Staffing’s overall tax exposure and optimize its tax position.

In this role you will be responsible for the implementation of the Global Tax Policies within RGF Staffing and working together with the RHC and Indeed tax teams on group-wide tax matters.

Due to the continuous growth and transition of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time.

Key Accountabilities

Providing quality outputs, including:

  • Set out the tax strategy and provide innovative tax planning and review and advice around complex Dutch and international tax issues.
  • Initiate and support in international tax projects in response to to international tax developments .
  • Advise on acquisitions, divestments and development activities.
  • Provide a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within applicable timeframes.
  • Advise on, implement and monitor the transfer pricing aspects of intercompany transactions within the RGF Staffing Business Units in line with (inter)national transfer pricing laws and regulations and the Group TP Policy.
  • Build relationships and work closely together with the local finance and tax teams within the RGF Staffing business units, the tax team of RHC in Japan, and the tax teams of the other RGF Staffing business units (Indeed/HR Tech and Marketing Matching Technologies) of the Recruit Group Family to provide excellent tax planning, tax consulting and tax expertise.
  • Own and further develop the Tax Control Framework for RGF Staffing, ensuring robust tax governance, effective risk management, documented controls and ongoing monitoring of key tax risks across jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisers, including the coordination of tax audits, information requests, rulings and other tax authority interactions across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Prepare tax filings, documentation and handle all information data requests.
  • Timely review tax accounting reporting for the European countries and support the Finance team thereon before issuance to RHC.
  • Support local tax managers and take overall responsibility for Dutch corporate income tax

Candidate
  • Master’s degree in Fiscal Economics or Fiscal Law; minimum of 10 years of corporate tax experience with internationally operating corporations. Some years of in‑house experience are considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of, experience and proven skills with tax accounting, transfer pricing, international tax regulations and Dutch tax law.
  • Highly analytical, motivated, works well in a team and individually, is confident, energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to think in the wider business perspective and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills, proven experience of providing high-quality support to senior leaders.
  • Strong collaboration & matrix management skills required, planful, comfortable with the detail.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Strong business focus, able to see the bigger picture and work at a strategic level, yet you are detail-focused. Due to the lean-and-mean setting being hands-on is essential.
  • Business-level English and Dutch are essential; Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence at all levels.
  • Working parttime (32 hours) can be discussed.
