Role overview
As our Group Tax Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of taxation across the group, including direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, tax compliance, and strategic tax planning.
Key responsibilities
Tax compliance & reporting
- Timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, payroll taxes). Local finance teams in all jurisdictions handle filing, with external parties providing support as needed.
- Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international tax laws.
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures and strategies.
- Advise on the tax implications of tenders, business decisions, M&A, and cross-border transactions.
- Monitor and assess the impact of BEPS, Pillar 2, and other global tax developments.
Transfer pricing
- Oversee transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements.
- Ensure compliance with OECD guidelines and local requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and business units to ensure tax alignment.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors across jurisdictions.
Process & technology
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Implement tax technology tools to enhance reporting and compliance.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Law.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in international tax, preferably in a multinational or Big Four environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch tax system; knowledge of UK tax and other jurisdictions is a plus.
- Experience with transfer pricing and international tax frameworks (OECD, BEPS).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and tax technology tools is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
- High attention to detail and integrity.
