Job summary
Johnson & Johnson in Sassenheim is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a newly commissioned facility. You will keep manufacturing equipment, production assets and utilities safe, reliable, and operational, supporting the maintenance department and the wider manufacturing team.
This hands-on role involves preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with external service providers to minimise downtime, with a 16/7 shift, 37.3 hours per
Qualifications
- Relevant technical diploma at MBO 3/4 level or VAPRO B/C in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Measurement & Control Technology.
- 0–3 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or technical environment with demonstrated ability to locate, analyze, and resolve malfunctions.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing equipment and utilities; hand over completed work to equipment/utility owner to maintain continuity.
- Troubleshoot complex failures, analyze root causes, document findings, and log troubleshooting results in the CMMS.
- Participate in root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives; suggest and implement maintenance process improvements.
- Assist with second-line troubleshooting; determine spare part needs and register parts in CMMS and warehouse to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate priorities with operations; support external service providers during maintenance activities; assist with installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation; perform periodic checks; execute LOTO activities; ensure safety, compliance and GMP standards.
