Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam zoekt een Maintenance Intern om achter de schermen bij te dragen aan een vlekkeloze werking van ons historische vijfsterrenhotel aan de Amstel. Je werkt samen met het Engineering-team en krijgt praktische ervaring met technische disciplines terwijl gasten een veilige, comfortabele beleving ervaren.

Tijdens de stage los je storingen op, onderhoud je apparatuur en installaties, en help je met inspecties en keukeninstallaties.

Qualifications

• Je beheerst Engels in woord en schrift.
• Relevante HBO-opleiding of student in een technische richting.
• Interesse in onderhoud, techniek en facilitaire operaties.
• Zorgvuldige en nauwkeurige werkhouding.
• Goed kunnen samenwerken in een dynamische hotelomgeving.

Responsibilities

• Storingen oplossen en ondersteuning verlenen bij reparaties in het hotel.
• Onderhoud aan apparatuur, installaties, verlichting en sanitaire systemen.
• Ondersteunen bij preventief onderhoud en inspecties op het terrein.
• Assisteren bij onderhoud van keukenapparatuur en technische installaties.
• Oefenen met eenvoudige elektrische taken en bekabelingswerkzaamheden.
• Bijdragen aan verschillende technische opdrachten in een historisch vijfsterrenhotel.
• Zorgen voor een schone, veilige en gestructureerde werkruimte.

Your Key Contributions to Memorable Stays

As a Maintenance Intern, you will play an essential role in ensuring our historic hotel continues to operate smoothly behind the scenes. Working alongside our Engineering team, you will gain hands‑on experience across a variety of technical disciplines while contributing to a safe, comfortable, and seamless experience for our guests.

During your internship, you will:

• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and supporting repairs across the hotel.
• Help maintain equipment, installations, lighting systems, and sanitary facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and regular inspections throughout the property.
• Assist with maintaining kitchen equipment and technical installations.
• Gain experience with basic electrical tasks, including wiring and cabling projects.
• Contribute to a variety of technical assignments within a historic five‑star hotel environment.
• Help monitor materials and maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Work closely with colleagues across departments to support the operational excellence of the hotel.
