Job summary

Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam zoekt een Front Office Stagiaire die gastbeleving centraal stelt en leert hoe een luxe hotel opereert. Je bent eerste aanspreekpunt voor gasten en leert check-in/out, reserveringen en gastvragen af te handelen.

Tijdens de stage ontwikkel je vaardigheden in gastvrijheid, communicatie in het Engels en service van topkwaliteit. Een leerzame, internationale werkomgeving met mogelijkheden tot professionele groei.

Qualifications

• Actief ingeschreven bij een onderwijsinstelling gedurende de stageperiode.
• Genuine passie voor gastvrijheid en gastendienst.
• Positief, benaderbaar en teamspeler.
• Voelt zich zeker in interactie met internationale gasten uit diverse achtergronden.
• Uitstekende Engelse communicatie in woord en geschrift.
• Flexibel, oog voor detail en leergierig.
• Inzet om memorabele ervaringen voor elke gast te creëren.

Responsibilities

• Verwelkom gasten met warmte en professionaliteit.
• Zelfstandig inchecken en uitchecken na de inwerkperiode.
• Beheer reserveringen, gastverzoeken en Front Office-administratie.
• Uitvoeren van gerichte aanbevelingen en lokale ins- en outs voor internationale reizigers.
• Ontwikkelen van vaardigheden in upselling, probleemoplossing en service recovery.
• Nauw samenwerken met afdelingen voor een naadloze gastbeleving.
• Bijdragen aan een sfeer waarin elke gast zich echt gewaardeerd voelt.

Your Key Contributions to Memorable Stays

As a Front Office Intern, you will play a central role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you will learn how a luxury hotel operates while developing valuable hospitality and guest relations skills. During your internship, you will:

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures independently after your training period.
• Handle reservations, guest requests, and administrative Front Office tasks.
• Provide tailored recommendations and local insights to international travellers.
• Develop skills in upselling, problem-solving, and service recovery.
• Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Contribute to an atmosphere where every guest feels genuinely cared for.
