Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in the Netherlands offers a Maintenance Intern role where you will work with the maintenance team to keep hotel operations smooth and safe. You will gain hands-on experience across technical disciplines while contributing to guest comfort and reliability.

The internship targets students enrolled in an educational program, with English as a working language and additional Dutch language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an educational institution throughout the internship period.
• Interest in technical maintenance, engineering, or facility operations.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in delivering quality work.
• Enjoy solving technical challenges and finding practical solutions.
• Work independently while also collaborating within a team.
• Guest-oriented and calm under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Good command of English; Dutch or additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and supporting repairs across the hotel.
• Help maintain equipment, installations, lighting systems, and sanitary facilities.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and regular inspections.
• Assist with maintaining kitchen equipment and technical installations.
• Gain experience with basic electrical tasks, including wiring and cabling projects.
• Contribute to a variety of technical assignments within an international hotel environment.
• Help monitor materials and maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Work closely with colleagues across departments to support operational excellence.
