Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Intern for NH Amsterdam Zuid in Amsterdam, NL. You will work with the maintenance team to gain hands-on experience across multiple technical disciplines while ensuring a safe and seamless guest experience.

You will troubleshoot issues, support repairs, and assist with preventive maintenance and inspections throughout the property. English proficiency is valued, with Dutch or other languages considered a plus.

• Actively enrolled in an educational institution during internship.
• Interest in technical maintenance, engineering, or facility operations.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and supporting repairs across the hotel.
• Help maintain equipment, installations, lighting systems, and sanitary facilities for optimal performance.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and regular inspections.
• Assist with maintaining kitchen equipment and technical installations.
• Gain experience with basic electrical tasks, including wiring and cabling projects.
• Contribute to a variety of technical assignments within an international hotel environment.
• Help monitor materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Work with colleagues across departments to support operational excellence.
