Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in the Netherlands is seeking a Maintenance employee to monitor the hotel's technical systems, perform repairs and oversee preventive maintenance.

You will support the maintenance manager, carry out corrective tasks promptly, help with vendor contracts, energy monitoring, and assist in setting up meeting rooms and addressing guest issues.

A hands-on handyman with broad technical knowledge, you are flexible, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and proficient in Dutch.

Qualifications

• Be a hands-on handyman with broad technical knowledge.
• Capable of troubleshooting and repairing a range of equipment and systems.
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance manager in day-to-day work and oversee preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Carry out corrective maintenance activities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in implementing security measures and ensuring necessary permits.
• Coordinate with vendors on contracts and investment proposals.
• Organize external vendors' duties with hotel departments and monitor energy consumption costs.
• Assist in setting up meeting rooms (audiovisuals, lighting, etc).
• Resolve guest incidents in a timely and appropriate manner.
