Job summary

Sire Search is assisting a leading life sciences and regulated manufacturing organization in Groningen, NL, to recruit a Maintenance Engineer who will support and improve site maintenance and facility engineering activities, ensuring availability, reliability, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with experience in facilities and/or maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Groningen.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (mandatory).
• Hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving skills and stakeholder management.
• Preference for employees rather than freelancers (if fit is exceptional).

• Support day-to-day facilities and maintenance engineering activities on-site.

Job Description

For an on-site project in Groningen, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer. This role focuses on supporting and improving site maintenance and facility engineering activities, ensuring technical availability, reliability, and compliance. The Maintenance Engineer works closely with local stakeholders to keep equipment and building services running smoothly and to resolve operational issues quickly and structurally.
