Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) to support daily production by resolving breakdowns quickly and performing preventive maintenance on-site in Boxtel, North Brabant. The role emphasizes safe working practices and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, coordinating external engineers, and maintaining equipment in good condition in a safety- and quality-driven environment. On-call/shift duties are expected.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3 or 4 in maintenance/engineering or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering; able to handle breakdowns independently.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems and safe electrical switching.
• Familiar with HACCP or Food Defense is a plus.

• Provide instructions to colleagues and keep them informed about technical matters.
• Use hand tools and machine tools to process materials when required.
• Work in line with site rules, including safety instructions and quality standards.
