Job summary

ABB Rotterdam is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to bridge technical insight and commercial execution in low‑voltage drive products. Based in Rotterdam with hybrid work options, you will translate customer needs into ABB solutions, support quotations, and guide orders from inquiry to delivery.

You will collaborate with Sales Engineers and colleagues across the Drive Products department to deliver customer-focused, innovative drive solutions and ensure high satisfaction in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• MBO-level degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of drive technology is an advantage.
• Experience in an internal sales or commercial support role is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical and commercial questions from customers throughout the sales process.
• Advise customers on the right low‑voltage drive (LV Drives) and motor solutions.
• Translate ABB concepts and solutions into applications for the local market.
• Prepare calculations and convert them into quotations and orders.
• Support Sales Engineers with quotations and commercial opportunities.
• Assist with order processing and ensure a smooth handover from quotation to order.
• Guide projects from initial customer inquiry through to order placement while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
