Job summary

Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam invites you to join its Front Office team as an intern, gaining exposure to daily front desk operations, check-ins, check-outs, and Opera PMS while preparing for a future leadership role in luxury hospitality.

You will participate in quality meetings, cross-train across departments, and experience monthly operations shifts, with a supportive Training Manager and staff discounts in the Accor network.

Qualifications

• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
• Currently enrolled in hospitality studies.
• Interest in luxury guest experiences and hotel operations.
• Proactive, organized and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform Front Desk Agent tasks: check-ins/outs, daily checklists, guest requests.
• Collaborate with Guest Relations, Butler, Concierge, and Night teams.
• Participate in Quality Committee meetings and Operations discussions.
• Assist with purchasing requests and ensure materials are available.
• Contribute to service excellence and operational improvements.
• Support consistency in brand standards across the department.
• Take part in monthly operational management shift.
